Jupiter remains very bright during February and passes north of Taurus the Bull. It just so happens that it is passing very close to the star field that was used in 1919 to verify Einstein's General Theory of Relativity - in particular, that a massive body bends the space around it. Thus, the light from a star passing close by the Sun during a total solar eclipse was seen to have deviated ever slightly from its usual position as the theory predicted.
